Como parte de mi taller de Art Journal para niños, hoy os enseño una primera página.
Mi objetivo en este taller es enseñar a los niños a conocerse, a expresar sus emociones y sentimientos y plasmarlos de una manera bonita y creativa, aprendiendo en el camino distintas técnicas mixed media, empezando por lo más simple.
Por ello, esta primera página va sobre ellos mismos. Deben escoger un símbolo que les identifique. Bien sea porque son deportistas, o porque les gusta la naturaleza, la música. Porque se ríen por la mayor tontería, porque les gusta dar abrazos o cualquier detalle que les haga pensar en que son únicos.
En el ejemplo que les muestro, yo me identifico con la música. Una clave de sol que me ha acompañado a lo largo de mi vida.
Un fondo colorido, un poco de lettering y embossing para que se vayan familiarizando con material específico y el texto que les describa.

As part as my Art Journal for kids workshop, you will find below a fast forward video of the first page.
My goal with this workshop is to make the kids to know themselves, how to express their emotions and feelings, and how put them down on the journal in a nice and creative way, learning different mixed media techniques along the way, beginning with the simple ones.
That's why this first page is about themselves. They must chose a symbol that identifies them. Whether they like sports, or nature or music. Or because they laugh or give hugs, or any other detail that makes them think and know that they are special.
In this sample, I identify myself with music. A trebble clef that is always with me.
A colorful background, a bit of lettering and embossing so they get used with the specific material, and some journal that describes themselves.
