Las que me conocéis sabéis que la dulzura no es una de mis caracteristicas.
Que cuando tengo que decir las cosas claras, no me ando con ñonerías.
Aunque cuando quiero puedo ser muy tienna, eh?
El caso es que buscando un título para mi lienzo, sólo doy con frases
pastelosas que, aunque he utilizado en mis trabajos alguna vez, no he
dicho jamás en la vida real.
¿Quién de vosotras ha dicho alguna vez "atrévete a soñar" en la vida real? venga ya! queda muy mono, lo reconozco, pero no va conmigo.
A mí me va más decir: "Espabila, échale huevos y a por ello"
¿y vosotras? ¿os quedais con la ternura o le echáis huevos a decir las
cosas como son?
Los dos lienzos de la semana pasada del Out of the Journal Challenge, iban
encaminados a este trabajo, pero ayer cambié de opinión y me he decidido
por los huevos. Será mi nuevo lema para este curso.
Con este conjunto de 4 tablillas enteladas y el lienzo de fondo, acabo el Out of the Journal Challenge de Dina y Samantha.
Muchas gracias a las dos y a todas las que han participado en el reto. Ha sido muy divertido y una fuente de inspiración para próximos trabajos.
If you know me, you know that I'm not the most sweet girl in the world, when it comes to a nice language :)
I call a spade a spade, and I use swear words "frequently".
But I can be soooo sweet when I want, though.
The thing is that while thinking of a title for my canvas, I only come up
with soft, cute and sweet words, that I used in some projects -I must admit- but that
I've never said in my real life.
Who of you have ever said "dare to dream" out loud? (Maybe this doesn't
sound too soft in english, but the spanish translation is way too much
"cloying" for me)
I am more for: "Hey, wake up and have the guts to do it!!!"
And you? Are you so gentle or do you have the guts to say what you want to say and call a spade a spade?
My last week's canvases were originally oriented to this project, but I changed my mind, and I went for the "guts" (in spanish the sentence is literally "have the eggs to do something", hence the eggs collage)
The sentence will be my motto this school year :)
With these canvas boards and the background canvas, I finished Dina and Samantha's Out of the Journal Challenge.
Thank you both for hosting the challenge and thank you also all participants. It's been so much fun and a fountain of inspiration for next projects.
