Ya están a la venta los nuevos sellos en español de Lali Álvarez.

Son sellos en fotopolímero transparente, bastante gruesos y bien detallados.

Lali me ha dado la ocasión de probar una de sus colecciones. Muchas gracias. Y elegí la colección "semana". Perfecta para el art journaling y -casi te diría que imprescindible- para el "December Daily" de Ali Edwards.

El set de sellos tiene un tamaño de A6 (10.5 x 15 cm). 

Están muy definidos y no se deslizan al estampar.

El próximo viernes 4 de noviembre, a las 21.00 hs. (Madrid) haremos más pruebas en profundidad para sacarle el mayor partido a estos nuevos sellos, que ya tenéis disponibles con el resto de diseños para compra online en Paraiso Scrap. 

Lali estará con nosotras para atender todas vuestras preguntas.

Además, ha tenido el detallazo de sortear uno de sus sets de sellos en español entre todas las que nos acompañeis el viernes, en directo, en mi canal de Livestream.

She kindly gave me a set to try it out, so I chose "semana" (week).

Acaba de nacer una nueva marca polaca - 7 dots studio - 

En su estreno, presenta 2 colecciones de papeles: Dreamer y Elise Rebel

Lo tenía claro cuando la ví. La colección Dream, "pamí".

Diseñada por Ana Dabrowska-Pekocka (Finnabair), es un fiel reflejo de su estilo. Totalmente mixed media.

Y allá que fui, google translator en mano, y ya tengo mis papeles y mis stickers.

Los papeles son muy fuertes, de modo de aguantan lo que le eches, incluso gesso. Los stickers son también bastante fuertes.

Los diseños, son completamente diferentes en ambas caras. Una en tonos claros y la otra cara mucho más fuerte. 

Desde luego la colección tiene muchísimas posibilidades y espero sacarle partido.

De momento, esta es mi primera página.

7 Dots Studio has just released 2 new collections: Dreamer and Elise Rebel.

It was love at first sight. I needed the Dreamer collection. 

Designed by  Ana Dabrowska-Pekocka (Finnabair), it's just her style. Pure mixed media.

So I opened "saint Google Translator" in a new window (my Polish is 000) and after a few emails, I purchased the papers and stickers

The papers are thick and holds media such as gesso and paint. Great! The stickers are also quite thick.

The designs are completely different in both sides. One with bright colours and the other, lighter and softer. They have so much possibilities and I hope to make the most of them.

This is my first page.

Tres en Raya para Halloween / Halloween Tic-Tac-Toe

Desde hace unos años, en casa hacemos una pequeña fiesta la noche del 31 de octubre.

Una excusa como cualquier otra para pasar un rato divertido, con disfraces, actividades y juegos para los niños y merendola para todos.

From a few years now, we celebrate a little halloween party at home on the 31st of october, with kids activities, costumes and games for everyone.

Este año, he preparado un juego de las tres en raya con una cajita de los chinos, restos de un juego de damas y los rotus Art & Graphic Twin (con el pincel de acuarela), Zig Millennium, Zig posterman y Wink of Stella de Kuretake. Para pegar todo he utilizado el Zig 2 way glue, también de Kuretake.

This year, I created a tic-tac-toe game with a little box from the dollar store, some missmatched game pieces and the kuretake pens Art & Graphic, the watercolour brush, Zig millennium, Zig posterman, Wink of Stella and Zig 2 way glue.

Así es como lo he hecho.

This is how I made it

Con las fichas de las damas, he dibujado el contorno de los dibujos con los Zig Millennium y he diseñado unas calaveras para un equipo y unos sombreros de bruja para el otro.

I traced the outline of the game pieces with Zig Millennium and drew some cute skulls and witches hats.

He forrado la parte de abajo de la caja con terciopelo negro adhesivo

I covered the bottom part of the box with black adhesive velvet

Cogiendo la tinta de los rotuladores directamente con el pincel de acuarela, he pintado los dibujos.

Taking the ink with the watercolour brush directly from the pen tip, I coloured the images

Los brillos y los detalles, con el wink of stella naranja.

I added some sparkle with Wink of Stella pen

Los he recortado y pegado sobre las fichas de damas

I cut them out and glued on the game pieces

He lijado los bordes y he dado un poco de tinta por los bordes

I sanded and inked the edges

Para el tablero, he pintado unos palillos con el rotulador Posterman y lo he pegado sobre la tapa de la caja

For my game board, I painted four sticks with Posterman marker and glued them over the lid box

Un par de capas de polvo de embossing para proteger y dar brillo al papel

A couple of layers of clear embossing powder to add some shine and to protect the paper

Y listo para jugar. Y al terminar, queda todo guardado en la misma caja.

Nuevos sellos y troqueles "stamp & die-cut" de Hero Arts y Sizzix

He tenido la oportunidad -gracias a Paraiso Scrap- de probar los nuevos sellos y troqueles coordinados de Hero Arts y Sizzix.

El modelo que he probado es el de Navidad, que he utilizado para hacer esta tarjeta. En la tienda tenéis disponible toda la colección.

Consta de 7 sellos de caucho, montados en almohadilla reposicionable, para utilizar con un bloque de metacrilato y los correspondientes troqueles a juego, tipo Framelits .

Los sellos son calidad Hero Arts - fantásticos - no se mueven, dejan una impresión muy clara y el caucho es muy duradero. La novedad es que estos sellos encajan a la perfección en los troqueles framelits, por muy intrincado que sea el dibujo, ahorrándonos el trabajo de recortar las imágenes más complicadas.

Su utilización es muy sencilla. Se estampa el sello, se coloca el troquel encima, cuidando de dejar la imagen centrada (ojo, que hay truco para que no se mueva. Te lo enseño el viernes) y se pasa por la big shot. Fácil, ¿no creéis?

El próximo viernes 28, estaré en directo en Livestream probando otros usos con los sellos y los troqueles. Ani estará también para atender vuestras preguntas ¿Te apetece acompañarnos? I've been testing the new Hero Arts and Sizzix' matching stamps and die-cuts, by courtesy of Ani from Paraiso Scrap.

I made this card using the Christmas set. The whole collection is available on the online store. 

The set holds 7 rubber stamps, mounted on cling cushion, to be used with an acrylic block. It also comes with the matching framelits dies.

The stamps are great quality (Hero Arts). They do not slip, leave a clear stamped image and the rubber is long lasting. These stamps fit perfectly within the framelits dies, even when it is such an intrincate image. This system, save the work of cutting the more complicated images.

The use is very easy. Stamp the rubber stamp, apply the die (be careful because the die may slip a bit -see my tip on friday to avoid this-) and finally pass it through the big shot. Easy peasy

Next friday, 28th I'll be broadcasting live from Livestream, testing new uses for these stamps and dies. Ani, from Paraiso Scrap will be with us to answer your questions. Do you want to join us? Preparando Halloween / Ready for Halloween

Soy de las que pienso que cualquier excusa es buena para hacer una fiesta y que los niños disfruten.

Así que desde hace unos años, el día 31 de octubre, aquí también celebramos Halloween.

Este año, comentando en el curro posibles meriendas "escalofriantes", salió la idea de estas momias de salchicha y hojaldre.

Con la ayuda de David, prueba superada. ¿no os parece?

Y vosotros, ¿váis a hacer algo creativo para Halloween?

I think that any excuse is good to celebrate a party and have fun with the kids.

From a couple of years now, we also celebrate Halloween.

This year, while talking about this with my work-mates, the idea of a scary mummy came out.

David helped me in the kitchen and this is the result.

Paseo de San Pedro - Watercolour

De paseo por Llanes, Marta y yo cogimos los bártulos para dibujar el espectacular paisaje que se ve desde el mirador.

El maletín de viaje con las acuarelas, unos cuantos papeles, y el pincel con depósito de agua de Kuretake. Es comodísimo para llevar de paseo. Se rellena por succión y el agua va mojando el pincel gradualmente, gracias a una válvula que controla en caudal simplemente apretando suavemente el depósito. Para mí, imprescindible.

Last week, I went for a walk in Llanes with my daughter and our drawing and painting stuff. 

I took my watercolour pocket set, some papers and my ZIG watercolour system brush by Kuretake. It's great for outdoors painting. All you need to do is fill the barrel with water and that's it! Ready to go. The brush has a valve so you can control the amount of water you release, just by squeezing the barrel. For me, a must have!

KURETAKE - Equipo de Diseño / Design Team

Gracias a Ceci que puso en contacto conmigo a Buffy, hoy formo parte del equipo de diseño de Kuretake, fabricante japonés desde 1902, no sólo de rotuladores, sino de toda una gama de material de escritura, dibujo, tintas de alcohol, pegamentos, incluso scrapbooking, troqueles y del sistema ZIG.

Los rotus que he probado hasta ahora son fantásticos. Estoy enamorada de los caligráficos. Hasta mi letra que es un desastre, luce más :)

Estoy encantada de formar parte del equipo. Echad un vistazo al blog de Kuretake para conocer al resto del DT.
