Texturas con gel iridiscente sobre panpastels, pintado después con el Brush Writer de Kuretake en color "geranium red" -es translúcido y deja pasar todo el brillo del gel- Al natural brilla muchísimo.

Forma parte de mis deberes con mediums y panpastels en n*studio.

Sketchbook Project 2012 - Portada / Cover

Pues ya que he hecho limpieza en la leonera y he descubierto que mi mesa es blanca, he desempolvado mi sketchbook para el proyecto de 2012.

El tema que escogí es "monochromatic". Todo un reto teniendo en cuenta lo que me gusta el color.

Aun no tengo muy claro cómo lo voy a plantear. Probablemente cada página sea de un color con distintos tonos y con distintas técnicas.

Lo que sí sé es que va a haber mucho panpastel y mucho rotu caligráfico de Kuretake (me estoy haciendo adicta). Y unos cuantos sellos, seguro. 

De momento, la portada. El sello, de Stampers Best. Clean and simple. Como espero que sea el resto del proyecto.

Just starting with my sketchbook project 2012.

I chose "monochromatic" as my theme this year. A challenge for me since I love colour.

I don't know how the sketchbook will turn out. I probably make each page with different hues of the same colour and with different techniques.

What I really know is that I will use lots of panpastels and kuretake calligraphy pens (I'm becoming an addict)

This is the cover. The stamp, by StampersBest Clean and simple. As I hope the whole sketchbook will be.

ATC swap - Embossing

¡¡¡Ha llegado el cartero!!!

Ya están aquí las ATCs de Alicia (mi "Diógenes" del reciclaje preferida).

Y tanto ha reciclado, que ha usado el trozo del sobre que le envié donde está el remite con mis datos, como dirección del destinatario. Así me sonaba la letra!!!

Ya lo dice ella: Si es que lo reciclo todo!! :)

Ha usado de todo: papel de empapelar para los sobres, hilos de bordar, un trozo de babi del cole, bolsas de plástico, mallas, cinta, recortes de libreta, resina y más "guarrerías" que me encantan.

El resultado, espectacular.

Muchísimas gracias Alicia. Me has alegrado el día.

Puente Mocha

El fin de semana pasado celebramos la I kdd oficial de primos de nuestra familia. 

Fue todo un logro de organización y logística.

El lugar elegido fue el área recreativa de Puente Mocha, en el río Cofio, junto a Valdemaqueda.

El sitio era ideal para hacer juegos, rutas exploradoras, darse un chapuzón en el río y contar batallitas familiares en torno a la tortilla (imprescindible en toda excursión que se precie)

Durante la ruta exploradora, yo me quedé en el "campamento base" anotando las coordenadas de los grupos, que nos iban marcando su situación vía walkie-talkie (aquí la prueba)

This last weekend, we celebrate our first "cousins-meeting" 

It was a logistics and organization hit :)

The place chosen was "Puente Mocha", on the Cofio river, near to Valdemaqueda.

The best place to play, walk, explore, swiming on the river and chat, chat, chat around the indispensable, essential Spanish omelet.

While the kids (and not so kids) were exploring, I was at the "Base Camp", taking notes of the coordinates given by the groups via walkie-talkie (here you have the proof).

Y en ese rato de "tranquilidad", aproveché para pintar con mis trastos portátiles de acuarelas.

And in that "quiet moment", I took my portable watercolour "junk", to paint for a while.

Un día para recordar y para repetir.

Como sabéis, estoy haciendo el taller de panpastels con Nathalie Kalbach.

Esta es la primera semana y después de haberme empollado los videos y tomado nota de todos los trucos que nos ha enseñado, he hecho mis deberes.

Os dejo con unos detalles para que veáis lo bien que se mezclan los colores y lo genial que quedan con las máscaras.

As you may know I'm taking Nat Kalbach's über*media panpastels workshop.

This is the first week and, after soaking up all her videos and taking note of all the tips, I have my homework (home*art) done.

You can see in the pics how the colors blend and how great the masks look with panpastels.
