An awesome song by the brilliant Alberto Cortez, that inspired my last art journal page.

I translated the lyrics literally. Please read.  I hope you understand the beautiful meaning.

He wanted to fly like the seagulls.
Free in the aire, by the air free
and the others said: "poor fool"
he doesn't know that flying is impossible

But he spread his wings to the sky
and gradually, he was gaining altitude,
and the others were on the ground
keeping their sanity

And he built castles in the air
in full sunshine, with clouds made of cotton
in a place where no one
could reach using the reason

And he built fabulous windows
full of light, magic and color
and called "the gobling of things"
that have much to do with love.

Seeing him so happy,
caused widespread alarm in the others,
rules were established, just in case this is contagious,
try to be happy that way

The concusion is clear and forceful
he was sentenced for his crazy ideas
back to live with people,
and "dress with sanity"

For building castles in the air
in full sunshine with clouds made of cotton
in a place where no one
could reach using the reason

And for opening fabulous windows
full of light, magic and color
and calling the "globling of things"
that have much to do with love.

Finish here the story of the fool
that in the air, like the air, free
wanted to fly like seagulls...
but that is impossible... or not??

Y tú, ¿construyes castillos en el aire?

and you... do you built castles in the air?
